First Impressions

A property for sale gets only one chance as a new listing and must show well from day one. Did you know most buyers have made a sub-conscious decision within 7 seconds of driving up to your home as to whether they would buy it or not? Decluttering is one of the most important things to take care of when you prepare to sell your home. You must appeal to a wide variety of people and cultures that will enter your home. Most people, myself included, are not able to see a room without your furniture and items in it. Interior designer and architects are great at doing this but the rest of us cannot. Staging your home, even with a few key pieces can make a big difference to the amount of profit we can get out of your house. It's worth the relatively small investment. Read up on Feng Shui and try and institute this where possible into your home. Hiring a gardener/landscaper to trim up those overgrown hedges or take that tree out that blocks the ocean view can add value to your home price. Repair all the little things that are not working properly and do the touch-ups. It takes a team to get you the most money possible out of your precious investment and youre part of it.
